Data Marketing
Landing page
.webp)
A web page designed specifically to welcome visitors following a targeted marketing action, such as a click on an ad, an email, a post on social networks or an SEO campaign. Unlike traditional website pages, a landing page is entirely conversion-oriented: its sole aim is to get the user to perform a specific action (purchase, registration, download, contact...).
Strategic role in the CRO :
When it comes tooptimizing conversion rates, the landing page is often the first point of contact between a visitor and the company. Its performance has a direct influence on :
- campaign conversion rates,
- customer acquisition cost (CAC),
- the quality of leads or customers generated,
- and, more generally, the return on investment (ROI) of marketing actions.
Key elements of an effective landing page :
- Clear, benefit-oriented headline: must immediately capture attention and express the offer or value proposition.
- Visible, motivating CTA (Call to Action): button or link with an engaging action verb ("Try it for free", "Download the guide", "Get my quote"...).
- Clean design: elimination of unnecessary distractions (menus, external links, etc.), layout focused on the conversion objective.
- Reassurance: testimonials, customer reviews, certifications, guarantees, payment security, etc.
- Consistency with the input source: the page's message must extend that of the advertisement, email or publication that preceded it ("message match" principle).
- Responsive & fast loading: essential for mobile, especially in the context of paid campaigns.
CRO optimization :
- A/B testing on titles, visuals, CTAs, placements or tones,
- Heatmaps and session recordings to understand where visitors block or drop out,
- Performance segmentation by traffic source, device or audience,
- Analysis of micro-conversions (scrolls, clicks, partial engagement) to refine variations.
Business objectives :
- Maximize conversion from first contact,
- Qualify leads faster,
- Improve Quality Score on platforms like Google Ads,
- Reduce advertising costs by increasing visitor response rates.
