Ramp Up

Ramp-up: Process ofgradually increasing the amount of traffic exposed to a new feature or test variation as part of A/B testing.

This controlled ramp-up enables you to limit technical or business risks (bugs, drop in conversion, user rejection) by closely monitoring performance at each level (e.g. 5%, 10%, 25%, etc.).

It is often used as a complement to feature flags or progressive rollouts, and offers the advantage of validating early performance signals while maintaining overall system stability.
